Urethra Stents

Hi all I’m due to have a total hysterectomy bowel resection and stents in my urethras next month whilst I’m slowly getting my head around the amount of surgery I need I’m most worried about the stents my endo nurse said your body tries to reject them as they are a foreign object which can be uncomfortable and make you feel like you constantly need to pee, they then get removed 2/3 weeks later in an outpatients appointment. Does anyone else have experience of this and what it is like having them removed? Thanks in advance as with everything we all go through it’s the fear of the unknown that makes things worse isn’t it x
