Tramadol

Morning all,

Just been prescribed tramadol for the pain had anyone got any opinions about it? If it helps or not?

I took tramadol at one point, but unfortunately it didn't help for me (but I haven't found any painkillers that have, which is weird). Although, the good news is it does work for many women.

Just be careful though, because it can be very addictive, maybe do some research on it, if you haven't had chance yet.

Hi Jess-Louisa,

I was prescribed tramadol and took it for a couple of years on and off. It defo worked for me, it eased the pains but I did suffer from some side affects. They made me feel abit spaced out, I didn’t sleep very well on then and lost abit of weighed as I could eat on them. But like everything everyone reacts differently. They are very addictive apparently but I managed to stop them with no issues.

Hi Jess-Louisa,

I take tramadol for my worst flare ups and never the maximum dose as they can be addictive. Sometimes I reach the max on my cocodomol intake and really need something else. Side effects for me include occasionally really bad nightmares and bad headaches a day or so after last dose, but they have been a life saver for me when pain gets very bad. I probably only take it 3 or 4 times a month.

Whenever I’ve taken it, the pain doesn’t really go away.. it’s just like I don’t care about the pain. It’s not for me, makes me feel really out of it.

But works for others.

yes it does great work on pain, I used to take oxy for my pain but my doctor said that I am getting addicted, so he lower my dosage and started tramadol. I used to get my prescription from my doctor only till I found an online pharmacy doctramadol.com, They have all strength of tramadol also reasonable. I can say that this is the best medication for pain

I like it too and completely agree that tramadol helps in all types of pain, It is far better than codine which makes me dizzy and I never liked it. I am very much happy with tramadol for my pain, Usually I take 2-3 pills in a day
