Does anyone else find tramadol makes them itch like a mofo? Recently I've been takin two tramadol last thin before bed to help me getti sleep which used to work fine but now it works untill about 4 in he morning at which point I wake up and spend the rest of the night scratching every square inch of myself!

Has anyone had this and if so is there anything that can be done to ease it? Change drugs or taking I with something else?

Help!

X

Hi , hard to say as I suffer with psoriasis but I didn't notice any unusual itching but my skin is really bad, I've had intense pain for three months and was given tramadol, I found this a great painkiller and was taking one to two a night to get me thru the night for about 8 weeks, I was also given it during my lap and took more than two after op, for a few days them just stopped taking it altogether, I had a horrendous time coming off it with withdrawal symptoms it does affect everyone but google it. I'm not very good with any tablets anyway. Good luck x

Hi

Yes, tramadol makes me uunbelievably itchy too. My doctor put me back on cocodamol when i told her. It's ot as good for the pain but better that than all that scratching!

Hi, I did have a bout where tramadol made my legs itch and feel like they were really sunburned, i was told that I had become allergic! Few months o later while in hospital during a flare up I was given tramadol again and have been fine on it since. Go see your gp xx

The famous tramadol itch....I can totally sympathise, it's all over and is the most annoying thing in the world. Some people take anti-histamines to stop the itching, I just put up with it as it's the only pain killer that actually works on me x

Tramadol makes me itch also. Especially my nose. It also keeps me wide awake the whole night. I would try something else. Good luck.

Hi Itchy ducky!

Yes Tramadol makes me itch too, I feel like there's little tiny bugs crawling on my skin! It's very common side effect of opiates.

I am exactly the same Aabb, I can't sleep at all on Tramadol. My mind races and I feel like I’ve had far too many espressos! It's interesting that we both experience this because it seems most people become sleepy on Tramadol. Does Tramadol make you feel euphoric too? x

Yes I have total insomnia, spend all night awake and the next day away with the fairies!

That's weird. It makes me itch like mad too but it makes me sleep! Like, to the point that I can't physically keep my eyes open.

Yes absolutely which is so strange because I was in tramadol a few years back and it maybe have me a slight itch from time to time but it seems like now every single night it wakes me up around 3:30 - 4:00 and the itch is an terrible that I really panic and think something is wrong and I wonder what it is with everyone saying it wakes then you around the same time in the morning itching. I have not tried a Benadryl it anything yet I hope it works otherwise I'm gonna have to stop taking it because it's the only pain need I can take because I'm in recovery from opiate addiction

Yep, both cocodamol and tramadol make me itchy. It's annoying as Hades, but a necessary evil, I suppose. 😐

Yes, I itch from one spot to another. I have to take a brush to use. I feel like I'm losing my mind. I've been taking tramadol 50mg for 6 months. I've got to find something else to take asap!!
