Hello, I am looking for some advice as I am feeling very lost, alone and emotional.
I had my first surgery in May they found 3 lots of Endo tissue it was removed. I struggled for a while but finely felt huge change. However over the last week I have felt pains coming back and today it's been awful, really sharp pains, my lower back is hurting, pains down my legs and I'm super tired and lethargic again. Is this too soon to be getting this back? What do I do now? Do I go to the doctors? Do I contact my specialist who did the surgery?
I am feel very anxious about it all as the diagnosis took me so many years, I'm scared of going through all of that again.
Thank you xxx

Yes go back to the GP and ask for a referral again and for pain medication. It's not your fault and you're not a problem. You are a woman in pain who is entitled to care to help you live a 'normal life'.
Cannot agree with the ‘You are a woman in pain who is entitled to care’ enough! I’m struggling to be heard after a 4 year stretch since my last hospital treatment (3rd overall) and agree that it can sometimes require so much strength and be a drain on energy but there have been some bright lights - a super supportive and knowledgable locum at my GPs office and recent appointment with a consultant I felt I trusted. Go to your GP and get yourself referred. Good luck!
marrakesh thank you for sharing your experience, it definitely makes me feel less alone. I'm so pleased to hear you are now having some brighter moments with your GP and consoultants. Your reply means a lot. Thank you
