I know this has probably been posted a hundred times but my search function isn’t working.

I have tried cbd before but only “as and when” which I didn’t really find useful.

I recently bought the Holland and Barrett cbd oil with the idea of using it daily, has anyone found this effective?

Hi, I’ve bought CBD oil from Holland and Barrett but found the taste to be very pungent, almost a fishy/ olive oil taste. It just didn’t seem taste right so I started buying it from hemptouch.com instead. It used to be sold on amazon but all CBD products have been discontinued so now have to buy directly from supplier website.

I now take it twice a day and have noticed a difference. I wouldn’t say it’s a miracle but it helps dampen the pain a little and makes me feel less anxious about it.

I have also found magnesium flakes and oil helps with muscle and hip pain. Again, it’s not a miracle but every little helps!

Xx

I think that's the thing - even if it's no miracle but does take the pain down a few notches that would be helpful. I started it a week ago and my hope is it will replace NSAIDs as they've damaged my stomach and then have codeine and tramadol to hand for when it doesn't help enough. I also use Dead Sea salt baths when pain is moderate (I can physically get into the bath!) and again no miracle but it eases my moderate pain, makes me feel more floppy and relaxed and so easier to deal with more intense pain xx

I use a 25% strength one from CBD brothers twice a day. I don't think the holland and Barrett one is particularly effective because it's not very strong. I have found a different with my flow in particular. It's nowhere near as heavy!

Yes after some googling I was worried about the strength! I hope taking it daily will somehow build it up in my system haha I dunno, wishful thinking.

It’s great to hear it can effect your flow!

Really good to hear about the flow - I wondered about that and it's been dreadful the past 2 months so will be interested to see if it improves xx

Hiya. I started CBD oil last week in the middle of a god awful flare up. I saw no difference but probably wasn't the best time to start. Now I'm increasing it and I'm past the most intense pain (I'm on cerazette which has basically caused 21 day periods but at least prevented the most severe throwing up and blacking out level pain) and this week my battle is mainly sciatica, locked back and moderate endo pain. I think it seems to be easing the back pain a couple of notches/making me more flexible. No miracle but I did go the other day from waking up with a locked back to playing with my 2 year old god son in the playground 2 hrs later. So I'm increasing and hoping a build up in system will help ready for the next severe flare up. I was gutted not to have an immediate effect that others has experienced but I'm now vaguely hopeful. I read H&B is too low. What I did was contact Love CBD via their website and they sent me a sample for £2 of their 800mg entourage oil. CBD Brothers do similar and they both seem to be respected companies so I'd suggest trying samples. I'm guessing I need a pretty high dose as endo affects me so much I'm now unable to work but after 20 years of forking out (with variable success) for so many supplements I'll be buggered if I'm paying £40-£120 for something unless I have guaranteed results! So the samples are a good start and if I clearly feel a benefit I'll then buy the stronger stuff (you're advised to start out low anyway). I'm adding CBD balm tomorrow so I can give you an update in a fortnight if you like. Xx
