Hair loss with Cerazette?

Hi ladies. Hope everyone is as ok as can be today. Just s quick question. Does anyone on cerazette experience hair loss? I’m on my third month of double dose pills, And I’ve found recently when I wash my hair and brush it after washing an awful lot of loose hair seems to come away. Not sure if I’m paranoid but I’m sure it’s significant angle more than usual ‘moulting’. Anyone else notice this on this drug? Thanks everyone xx

Very sorry to hear you're going through this, it is unpleasant to see one's mane on the hairbrush... I'm also on Cerazette and got hair loss. Most of my hair loss is caused by another condition, but feel Cerazette sped up the loss to the point where the shower floor is covered. My curly hair became straight after starting taking the drug. I'm having this looked into before my gyno consultant takes me off it. Besides hormones and medical conditions, other factors like nutrients and stress could be involved. I hope you find out what's up and feel better soon xx

Argon oil and coconut oil have been wonderful in managing my very dry and brittle tresses, giving some relief even if it falls out. My endo specialist told me that hair loss isn't normal for endo, so she referred me to immunology. I've also seen posts around here that women who've gone on the depo shots may also have had hair loss. Do have a chat with your gyn or GP about it and let us know how it goes. You're doing amazing :)

Same thing is happening to me i can run my hands through my hair and lots comes out this happens a lot through the day and bit concerning

I do dye my hair a lot but i know its not frim that as dye damage for me comes out in little flakes of hair that snap but this doesnt snap its from the root. Im not on double dose (i was thinking of asking my dr if i can since my pill always makes me bleed every single day quite heavy at times)

Also Im on a sifferent brand of mini pill but i believe the side effects will be the same

Ive not used heat and been using more conditioner than shampoo might look into vitamins like biotin. Good luck hun! Xx
