Thank you, I’ve had so many hormone treatments as well so could be a side effect of that and endo combined. It just worries me when it comes out in clumps like I don’t want bald spots haha
Yes I understand I use mascara to cover mine lol lots of things about and you have to try not to stress it’s a hard thing to do but it does make it worse if you stress .sleep is important too.I have alopecia and one minute it will be in remission the next I have a full head of hair
The good thing is my hair is naturally thick so most people don’t notice .you could also try mindful techniques or other things setting stress times once a day etc
Have you had your iron, thyroid and vitamin D levels checked.? They are not uncommon issues alongside endometriosis. They can all cause hair loss. Mine has been thining recently but my vitamin D was low so my GP has prescribed me something.
Aw thank you, I’m so nervous so that’s probably not helping my hair haha xx
Check with your doctor first if you’re on prescription medications, but you could try Biotin (vitamin B7). I work in a health food shop and we sell lots of it for hair loss caused by different reasons.
And it is very much easier said than done, but try to find a way to relax that works for you. Stress is a huge factor in hair loss xx
Hair loss can be a sign of a vitamin or mineral deficiency including Vitamins A, B2, B5, B6, B7, B12, D and/or Iron. It can also be caused by stress and medication amongst other things.
The Phillip Kingsley website offers an excellent guide to hair loss including types, causes and possible treatment.
Yes too noticed it after i diagnosed with endo in jan through MRI since then i too suffer with hair thinning and hair fall, snd now i had my lap 2 days ago and its the same condition now. Don't know what to do? I too need help to stop my hairfall.
It’s awful isn’t it but I’m glad I’m not alone with it. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what could be causing but I might ask my hairdresser in a couple of weeks
I'm having the same problem. I had my first lap about 2 months ago. It's really worrying me as my hair is so fine now and in bad condition despite trying expensive shampoos and hair masks etc. I've heard it could be the stress of the op or the anaesthetic although I had previous surgery and didn't notice any hair loss. I'm on the pill so was wondering if it could be that but I've been on a pill with identical hormones for years on and off with no problems. I've had my bloods checked and they were all ok.
Apparently, the hair cycle is 3 months, i. e, 3 months to renew but also something that occurred 3 months ago. I have the same problem and I am using shampoo with caffeine as Alpecine, Plantur, etc, they are more affordable. I've also cut my hair a bit shorter to give them more volume and my hairdresser gave me some product to add volume. Its doesn't help the moral when this happens on top of everything else, but keep smiling :there are ways around it and our hair will regrow. 😊
