Hello all, after years of troubles yesterday I was diagnosed. It has been suggested to me that I should take the drugs that stop ovulation and temporarily bring the menopause on. I just wondered if any one has been through this and I'm concerned how this will affect me, also on reflection not sure why they didn't offer the laperoscopy which feels like it could be a quicker solution/ improvement. Any thoughts? Thank you

Hi
I’ve been put through it 3 times now all following laparoscopy surgery to remove endometriosis and cysts. The 1st time with zoladex and it worked really well stopped my periods and the pain reduced with very few side effects. The 2nd time they used prostrap which didn’t work at all and also gave me infections where the injection was put in. Then the last time used Zoladex again which didn’t work.
Im at a point now where the pain is worse than ever and due to have another laparoscopy on 28th Aug.
Hope you get some pain relief.
