Travel insurance

Hi folks.

Anyone taken out travel insurance following excision of endometriosis?

I had my lap almost 6 weeks ago where they removed some Endo by cutting.

Going to Cyprus on Sunday and wanting to book travel insurance but unsure what to declare if anything?!

Any help / advice gratefully received.

I personally have always declared it because you never know if I’ll be taken ill aboard and then not covered if I hadn’t said so before or charged more. I didn’t want to run the risk, so for the little bit extra I declared it upfront. Could be worth doing two prices (with and without the declaration) and see the difference?

Hi I always put it down just incase something happens and I need to go hospital, the difference in price is about £5/10 depending on where you go but it's worth it so you can put your mind at rest x

if u are still under a doctor u will def need to declare. i have used diamond insurance a couple of times now. it costs more but they did recognise endo.

Thanks ladies. I always take cover out just was unsure where to declare as if they excised the Endo o should be free. Think I’ll call an insurer rather than try and do it online.
