Right I'm not proud of myself but yesterday afternoon was pain free and I then went for a meal with my best friend after work, I was feeling well and I got my surgery date this week I was in good spirits and so we had a few drinks...however I feel I am paying for it this morning, my pain is really bad...
Does anybody else's pain gets worse after drinking alcohol?
I'm definitely going to be more careful next time I decide to have a few drinks!

Hi don't feel bad now and again you have to go out and let your hair down especially when your having a pain free day!! I personally haven't experienced a flare up after drinking but then again I only a have a few I don't drink too much! It could just be having drank after a while it's affected it somehow!
My pain was always at its worst after I'd had a few drinks. I'm not much of a drinker anyway, but felt like I was in a battle with myself over it. On the one hand, I wanted to be able to go out and enjoy myself or share a bottle of wine with my husband, but I always knew I'd suffer afterwards.
In the end I just stopped bothering and didn't drink at all - it just wasn't worth it.
Hey, I used to suffer badly after drinking alcohol with heartburn and pain. Only time it didn’t affect me was on holiday in Tenerife haha I was completely fine and drunk 😂
Hi. I almost always become in pain after I've had alcohol. I don't overdo it, but still end up in pain about an hour after I have alcohol. I just decide at the time whether it's worth risking the possible pain or not x
I stopped drinking mainly for this reason. I still go out and have fun but I feel like I'm intolerant to alcohol. It's just not worth the pain in my opinion.
