I have been offered zoladex injections had a lap sept 2017 confirmed endo. I have been off work for nearly 4 months due to my endo. I am now under an endo specialist and also have a direct number for the endo speacialist nurse. I’m going to be having an mri in sept (earliest appt) then discuss another lap after that.
What are people’s thoughts on zoladex. Has it worked what are the side effects would u recommend or hold out?

So many horrid stories about Zoladex that I had panick attack after first injection. My experience on it was totally fine. I did have hot flushes and night sweats and achy forearms but other than that I think it was fine. Sometimes I got a bit dozed/forgetful on it but it because amusing. Nothing was awful. I would go on it again if needed.
Is that the same as a Lupron shot im taking medication along with it to help with my endo.anyone else on this shot been findingtheir moods have been off having tingling numbness in my arms and hands, and focus has been off. i had a partial hysterectomy in 2015 found lots of endo, took allot out but not all & i had an MRI bc of my back issues recently and found a huge cyst on my left ovarie it hasnt increased or decreased but they still want me to have surgury to get the rest out after they finish the treatment for endo
I think Lupron is basically the same thing. I didn’t have moods but I did get arm aches and tingles and I did get forgetful and foggy brained some times.
Hiya, I’ve had zoladex for 9 months and it’s been the best thing. Definitely needed the HRT (tibolone) to help with the hot flushes etc. But it was like a magic drug for taking pain away once it settled in my system. I had awful endo symptoms before going on it and having a lap soon but staying on the zoladex. Hope that’s of some help x
