I have my first gynae appointment on 4th June to discuss the searing pain that I get together with struggling to conceive.
Reading these posts, it’s unclear whether endo pain is constant or intermittent
I get excruciating pain always on my lower left side from the second day of my period and on average, it lasts for 10 days and then disappears completely. The pain is always on my left side and can move into the top of my left leg.
Are these typical endo pains?
I had C Diff in July of last year and then the pain started in September. Around my period I’m experiencing the foulest smelling farts and (apologies if you’re eating) really smelly sticky poos - I’m wondering if there’s a connection

Hey, everyone is different, that’s why endo can only be officially diagnosed via a lap. I’m still waiting for mine but I only get pain a few days before and during my period. Plus painful ovulation. However I do have a constantly dull heavy feeling just above my pubic bone 24/7 but that’s more annoying than painful compared to my period where I’m bed bound.
I only have 4 day periods which are really heavy, then it just stops however I do have other symptoms related to endo like painful sex etc. Xx
Thank you for taking the time to come back to me. I’m showing with symptoms of the pain, flooding and infertility. I’m also having horrendous mood swings and at some points I’m having dark thoughts before suddenly bouncing back to my usual self. Hopefully get to the bottom of it all shortly
Yeah I’ve had like 3 weeks of feeling so depressed and now I’m just bouncing back to feeling a bit better. Not 100% happy but not as sad as I have been xx
I have a pain on my left side too, it’s always there but some times of the month are worse than others . I’m now getting a pain on the right side which feels more like pinching and stabbing, but that one is on and off. I only get a period for three days max and the last one was very dark and a very odd consistency I’m always bloated always feeling heavy and have pressure and a fullness . Some days it feels like my insides are about to fall out. I also have super smelly farts and go from one day have diaorhea to constipation to normal the next.
Hello, it does sound like what I experience and I don’t think it’s common endo symptoms. I imagine your period doesn’t last for ten days but the pain is still very strong after the period has ended? and my entire pelvic area feels very tender during this time... I started having this type of pain all of the sudden one month four years ago and it never went away I had a lap and no endo was found but my doctor suspects adenomyosis... that’s not really a typical symptom of adeno either. Let me know if you get any answers...
Thank you all for taking the time to reply - mihaellad you sound exactly the same as me. I had a cervical polyp removed in January 2017 and prior to that I would spot for a few days and then flood - actual period would only last for 2 days and it seems to be happening again. I also have an ectropian (probably SIC). Just really fed up of it all now, it’s makinh me quite depressed. Been trying for a baby for 4 years and the monthly pain is just hammering home that I’m seemingly infertile
