First lap today for stage 4 endo!

Hi guys! Morning!

Finally having my lap today after 13 years of being in pain and not taken seriously and waiting for a diagnosis! Been waiting almost a year for this surgery after diagnosis and hope this will be the first and last one- i know that sounds niave especially after the posts we see on here but ey gotta keep a positive mind! Keep me in ur prayers xxx

P.S this bowel prep is still making me run to the toilet and im worried im going to end up soiling myself on the table ahaha 😂.. is it going to stop??!

Wishing you all the very best today! I'm with you on the bowel prep at least, having a bumcam today 😂 not half as big a deal as yours but can empathise with the prep at least! Xx

So glad you're better than you thought you would be, it sounded like you have had a lot going on down there. Hope the recovery is swift x the flexible sigmoidoscopy was the worst pain I have ever experienced and wasn't expecting it at all! Was prepared for 'uncomfortable' as warned but not feeling like my insides were going to tear apart! I put up a thread on here to see if anybody else had experienced similar and they had, so not just me, phew! You take care and rest up xx

Thanks hun, the surgeon said i was a completed mess inside! He said no wonder i was in so much pain cuz everything way stuck together and he has unfrees everything without me losing anything 🙌🙌 thank the Lord, he said i will feel much better post recover and shouldnt have a problem trying for a baby when im ready so all really good news!! Xx

So glad to hear everything has worked out for you as 13 years is a long time to get a diagnosis and treatment. Your surgeon said the same thing to me, wonder if it's the same one!
