I am 21, not yet diagnosed with endo but I feel like I am hitting all the symptoms and my doctors don't want to know. all the problems started when I came off contraceptive over a year ago since being on them since I was 15 because of my periods. now I am constantly at the doctor's, have been subjected to multiple blood tests, 2 ultrasound scans and one gynaecology exam which hurt soo bad I still vividly remember the pain. now after taking my symptom diary to the doctor she has been quite Blazey and prescribed me a progesterone only pill and naproxen for the pain.
I want some freedom from my bed but is it worth taking the contraceptive to mask the symptoms and I may never get diagnosed or more help.
any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated as I am getting nowhere with the doctors.

I have a similar worry...I am finally getting people to listen and now having a consultation for potential lap. I've been taking the progesterone only pill for years now and it has definitely helped with my symptoms but I am not sure if it is going to affect what they find on lap! I know it sounds awful but I kinda feel like now I've finally got this far and I want them to see me at my worst so they know how bad it can get for me because otherwise they just don't take notice!! It's always a case of "if the pill stops your periods and helps why are you here?" ...
Because most of the time it helps but I still get horrendous back pain and headaches at least once a week, and constant urine infections and everything else that comes with endo that isn't related to the actual bleeding!
I so desperately need to find out if it is endo as I have been living in discomfort for years!
