Bleeding for 13 days? Is this normal?

Hi everyone!

I hope you're all having a nice Saturday.

I've been bleeding now for 13 days. It started with blood that was really thick, black and old looking. It then changed to 'normal' period blood but it's been a mixture of both for the last week.

I've had to wear pads every day and change them constantly.

Is this normal?

Thanks

Hi there, do you normally have a normal period? Thus may be a anovulatory cycle I think they call it or dysfunctional bleeding. Wiki it and it will come up with info. I suffer from dysfunctional bleeding before and after diagnosed with PID. I don't have endo though so can't comment on symptoms for this. Ensure ypur eating plenty of iron rich foods and b12. If you can't cope with it, maybe see ypur GP. x
