Hi all.first time on here.. nearly 2eeeks ago I had a complete hysterectomy, took my womb, both ovaries, fallopian tubes,8cm cyst plus all endometriosis. All was stuck to my pelvic wall and bowel;I was in surgery for 6.5 hours and both the endo and bowel surgeon did brilliantly as all by key hole(7 incisions).. I've now been given tibolone tablets to help prevent the menopause due to my age and that I've got rheumatoid arthristis too. I'm already feeling emotional and hot flashes so hope they help although read you can gain weight?? :0 anybody in a similar situation? Hate my belly as it is but now got 7 cuts on it which know will fade just hope it all helps. Feel little down at times! Thanks for taking the time to read my story, think I'm just getting my head around it all ! X

Hi thanks for replying it was nice to read! I've started on a type of hrt today and have got an apt tomorrow for my stitches to be taken out as they haven't fallen away in there own.. this time two weeks ago I was in surgery! I'm moving more but get very tired easily, which I guess is natural. My surgeon told me I've had a huge op and to take it slowly so that's what I'll do hope you're doing well xx
Absolutely take it easy on yourself! you deserve to treat yourself kindly right now I recently had lap surgery and a mirena inserted which is causing me all sorts of bother at the moment, but trying to be patient and stay calm is my goal stay well friend! x
I had that fitted after a course of zoladex. Both helped with the pain but unfortunately a specialist advised (after i was still having some pain) that he recommended everthing out.. so that's what I've done! Fingers crossed for you and be good to hear how jump i get on xx
