Hi ladies hope you are all well? just need a moan really cos it's been playing on my mind. I've been diagnosed with endo and I also have functional neurological disorder which has symptoms very similar to MS, my husband and I have a very active sex life and even though it always hurts the pleasure outweighs the pain though after it I'm always in agony. Well the other day we were getting down to it and I had to stop him cos it hurt so dam much! I'm gutted , I am now really wary of doing it again , I know that sounds silly. My poor hubby felt awful bless him , hes amazing and always asks if I need him to stop.
Thanks for listening xxxx

I get what you mean and how you feel, we're very active too
I don't have any great words of wisdom! Just try not to let that pain ruin the amazing sex you do have, try different positions etc, perhaps something in a certain way made it worse. We have a safe word, for when the pain gets too much or sudden pain so that there's trust it may take a while for both of you to get your confidence back, I'm sure you'll find it xx
Slower sex. Sex on your side. I would increase my painkillers in the late evening just in case.
Honestly itās the worst when you want to and canāt but donāt let it put you off - I had similar problems but not to get too much into it I was thinking too much about how it might hurt and started tensing up which made it worse. My partner was very understanding however and sometimes itās just not going to happen but you can enjoy other ways or sometimes it just needs a bit more time before going for it. Donāt know if this is a bit obvious but lube? Iād never used it before I always had this thought that it was for people with other issues but actually it helped a lot especially if I was a bit tense, although if you have any treatments donāt use anything that tingles or cools š¤¦š»āāļø might be worth seeing if it hurts at a particular time like the week leading up to a period or just after etc too or if youāre stressed, that sort of thing. Good luck!x
My doctor gave me some instillagel ( gel thatās used when inserting catheters) it has a little bit of local anaesthetic in it- might be worth a try? X
