I am normally tolerable of my endometriosis. Today I am far from.... I am 27, am grade 3 endometriosis diagnosed, have now one ovary from surgery last year and am going to be placed on HRT in the next few weeks for 2 years. I am on pain medication, which without it I would be unable to do anything. Right now I am in so much pain I feel like I am going to throw up, the pain is literally bringing me to tears. I hate my body and hate how it makes me so unwell. It puts me in such a depressive mood and my hormones are just whacked atm. So up and down, without the HRT yet especially I am so all over with my moods. I feel like you are going round in a vicious circle and there is nothing at times you or no one can do, but just get on with it. It also really makes me frustrated, people have NO idea unless they themselves are going through it how unbearably painful this disease is. It isn't just temporary, a painful period, it is horrendously painful and even with a smile on my face, my body inside is in severe pain. I am fed up today. What do you when you have days like this to cheer yourself up and cope with the pain? I would appreciate anything right now. thank you

Hey sorry your in so much pain it’s so shit at times I feel your pain 😔😔 sounds pretty simple but all I do is stick a good film on, get in bed put a couple of pillows under my knees to raise my legs it really helps with my pelvic pain or under your hips helps aswell an just a hot water bottle it might not work for you but it works for me I hope it helps ☺️☺️ xx

So sorry you're having a hard day. It depends how much I feel able to do but if not much then a warm bath and a good book. If I feel a bit better i do some yoga for endometriosis and it really helps with the pain xx

Hi, I'm sorry to hear you're feeling so awful! I can totally emphasise and I'm sure loads of people on this forum can! As my friend wrote me on a card: "Endometriosis is a wanker but you can handle it!" It's so painful and it also gets me down. Hot water bottles are the one! And for me NSAIDs (ibuprofen) plus paracetamol helps. I also find it reassuring to hear other people's stories on this website, then it doesn't feel so alone! Watch a nice movie and pamper yourself, blankets and TLC! When I can, exercising makes me feel better, but of course only when the pain isn't too bad. Good luck! X x
