Been 5 weeks since my laparoscopy where they removed endo. I'm in pain all the time at the moment. I thought it was just my period but once that finished, it's still going on and it's especially bad if I go to the toilet. I'm also red and flushing all the time, to the point where I can't sleep at night! I've tried changing my diet but not one single thing seems to trigger the pain. They keep saying at the Drs I have IBS but none of the IBS medication works. I don't know what to do. Welcome any advice!

I still have pain complaints after almost a year after my surgery!!
of course your body is still healing after surgery and will have pain complaints, but i dont think it has something to do with IBS. Just keep a diary when the pain is, what sort of pain, where are you with your cycle and take this back to GP.
I am having hot flushes, sweating a lot and sometimes still dizzy. I think it has someting to do with hormones and maybe worries you have.
Just persist going back if you are not feeling well and dont let them brush you off with tummy medication.
Hi Naomi, thanks! Well I have had other problems they thought IBD at first. However I think it's all linked to my endo. I'm throwing up every day and in SO much pain. Hopefully the Drs will help! Thanks again for your message xx
Sorry to hear you're in so much pain and having difficulty with Drs. That sounds frustrating! Can I ask if you have had a Mirena inserted? I think Naomi's advice about keeping a diary is excellent - I do that. I'm four weeks post surgery myself and still in pain every day though it is mainly lessening each day. I have a mirena inserted and my doctor said I will feel cramping and pain from that while I adjust to it.
The main thing is you should be getting better little by little each day.
Hey! Thanks for the response. I don't have a Mirena. I'm trying to get back to the Drs today but they are so frustrating!! Sorry to hear you are still in pain too. All the best for a speedy recovery! X
