Lap pre assessment And complications after d&c? General advice

I have my lap pre assement coming up. I've read through the paper work my gynacolagist and I signed but I feel like it's unclear.

My main reason for going down this route is that since coming off the pill and dealing with a miscarriage that resulted in a d&c I've had a lot of pain since the d&c and a lot of symptoms of endo and also ive been struggling to conceive.I also have been diagnosed with pco after a ruptured cyst.

What sort of finding or procedures should i be expecting them to do to help me with everything? Will they remove the cysts? I know she said they will check my tubes are clear.

Feeling overwhelmed with it all.

Has anyone had these problems since a d&c? I'm worried about finding out something that is going to be heart breaking like not being able to have children.

If you don’t mind me asking - what is the pre-assessment / pre-op? I’m having my lap in a few weeks and noones mentioned it! Thanks
