If you tell them you need it done before you go on holiday there’s a chance they’ll put you on the cancellations list but bare in mind even if you have it done in 4 weeks you could still be healing when you go on holiday, which could limit the things you can do if you feel like shite x
Yeah I didn’t take that into consideration but the nhs is on the news now and it’s not good news which scares me over the operation long waiting times and cancellations xx
Hi, I don’t know the waiting time in Manchester specifically but all over the country waiting times have been going up. Many places now can’t see patients within 18 weeks, which used to be the NHS target. I find it very hard to imagine you will be seen within 8 weeks.
To find out, just phone the hospital and ask to be put through to gynaecology. Information about waiting times should be openly given. If you don’t get any joy, look up the PALS service for the hospital and ask them. They will certainly be able to find out for you.
