Hi all. I have been on zoladex for a number of months now and it has been amazing for my pain however the hot flushes and headaches were very hard to deal with! My consultant has no put me on tibolone and I have been taking this for a month but it has affected my moods and hasnt done a lot for the hot flushes.
Has anyone used tibolone? Does it get any better or shall I just stop taking it??

Tibolone is typically the first hrt tried but there are others and some suit one person better. Have you got a 'phone number to let your consultant know (for a specialist nurse?), perhaps they can offer you an alternate? x
After using Zoladex for a month, I have added Tibolone for months now and it has greatly reduced the hot flushes. The feeling has reduced and the number of times it happens in a day has reduced but I have started spotting for days now so I guess our bodies react differently and Yes I agree that you should speak with the consultant that prescribed it, all the best x
