Hi I have been to see a gyne that suspects I have endometriosis and I am having a lap on the 2nd of Jan. But I am just wondering if they would of seen anything if it was there when i had my appendix removed? don't want the surgeons to be wasting their time on me if theres nothing there :(

Its not wasting time and my brother had his appendix out they definitely wont be looking for anything when they are taking appendix out because its an emergency situation also for endo they look further down my lap wounds are in a different place to my bro we both have belly button wounds but I have one on my pelvis 😮 Also if they were unsure they wouldnt send you for an lap my doctor was unsure whether it was endo so I didnt have a lap til last month they were unsure and he said I was young he didnt want to send me for an op 😮 So dont worry 🙂

I know how you feel I actually cried once not being diagnosed with celiac because I was fed up with not knowing😮 I hope you get a diagnostic or at least some insight 😮 X

The surgeon who removed your appendix would be a general surgeon and not specialised to identify endometriosis so you’re definitely not wasting anyone’s time. Also they wouldn’t have been looking for it when removing your appendix. Good luck for Jan x

Killjoyxxx The removal of your appendix is most likely the course of your problems now. Adhesions. I hope that I am wrong. Good luck and I hope to hear from you in the new year.
