Does anyone use sticky heat pads??

I use my electric hot water bottle at home but I really need something for work. I’m weary of allergic reactions anyone recommend any?

I use sticky heat pads, master plast self adhesive heat pads, you get two in a pack think I got mine from home bargains, I never had allergic reactions to them but you are prone to reactions, have you thought about looking into a TENS machine?

I would recommend them yes, I just find when I'm at my worst I find the TENs doesn't do much.

Hi, I use them at work sometimes. Very helpful. Not had a reaction as yet, but I’m sure they could create redness and sensitivity if you used them a lot. They do get quite warm.

I just take my electric heat pad to work and plug it in under my desk, my employer and colleagues know about my issues so don’t bat an eyelid. My boss has actually ended up buying a heat pad herself. Mine broke on Saturday I almost went into a blind panic. I have used the sticky pads but found them a little uncomfortable to wear all day at work.

Hi there,

I used an electric blanket that had a timer of 90mins maximum that would shut off automatically. I would have my sheet as a barrier most time I used it and it really helped to relax my pelvic, abdominal and lower back muscles during my period.

The blanket also had a covering itself. Worked wonders after maybe 30mins and I was usually able to get a night's rest after that. :)

Hope this helps!

Blessings! :)

I use sticky heat pads, just the cheap ones from the pound shops and they've always been fine.

Wheat pads and hot water bottles are good for work. There's a thing called a hug as well. It straps around your pelvic and lower back area and you can heat or cool it.

Hope you find something that helps!
