Hi guys I am in constant pain and I find I'm struggling when at work. Could someone please recommend a decent heat pack for when I'm at work... I have quite an active job so would need somethong which would stay put when moving

Hi Niclou88, the only thing I can think of would be something like the deepheat patches as they stick to your skin. I use a microwaveable wheat bag as i find they stay longer hotter than hot water bottles and they're flexible so you can mold to your body and keep it in place with like a a Velcro fastening back support. I remember reading on here someone used a electeic wraparound heatpad, but I'm not sure if that was battery operated.xx

I've got a few different ones, a cheap one from Amazon and an expensive one infused with lavender from Tisserand which is very calming. Where is your wraparound heatpad from?

From Amazon :)

Easy if it rechargeable..

I don’t usually use hot water bottle because I’m too lazy for it, i use heating patches for period

I have a microwave heat pad that came from eBay that came with a velcro strap that is adjustable (just remove for heating). It is also sewn into sections so the insides stay evenly distributed. The brand is zhu-zhu.

Hi, the boots direct to skin heat patches are amazing. You can stick them on and they don’t move and can stay there for 8hrs. xx

I have a small heated blanket I bought on amazon. Cost like 15/20 and you just plug it in and boom. Living the heated dream!!

The heat packs are good but they run out and are expensive so this was the best way for me.

I have a rice bag that heats up really well in the microwave! I've heard that the electric heating pads aren't that great for you since they emit electric magnetic fields (EMF).

I use the red ointment tiger balm from Asda it's like deep heat only better, there is one downside to it tho it stains so ware dark clothes it comes off in a hot wash hope you feel better soon.

I used to use the Boots ones then found you could buy 2 for 99p in Wilkinson’s. They seem pretty much the same to me. Slightly more practical at work then wandering around with a hot water bottle for me anyhow.

I am from Australia and I use Heat Wheat Products

I order the Physio pad large. I have been using them for years. I can fully recommend them. I don't know where I would be with the heat packs. I usually order a couple a a time to make the shipping worth it.

You can buy a long hot water bottle from Argos (I think it’s called yuyu body bottle) it has straps that can be tied around to keep in place. It’s a little heavy but might be useful to look into. Also it keeps the heat for at least 6 hours x

I use the £1 heat pads from B&M they work just the same as the expensive brands. It’s only a £1 to see if they help or not for you. I work in a busy pre-school and they stay stuck on, last about 8hours.

I use the Superdrugs brand heat patched and their amazing they stick on and last upto 8 hours, I to work in a school office so I can't really use a hot water bottle. These Superdrugs brand are still good. The pound shop do them too but I only use the pound store one when I'm in a lot of pain as it warms up very hot quickly which helps for my back pain.

I’ve tried loads of different heat pads and my preference is the Femine Heat Pads from Poundland (they come in a pink box). You get two in the box for £1. They stick onto clothing (not directly to skin). They’re very secure and last 8/9 hours at a time. I’ve tried more expensive brands but these are by far the best. Hope it helps x
