Hi, has anyone suffered with dizziness and nausea after a laparoscopy. I had my 2nd lap for the removal of endometriosis last Friday and I cannot shift this nausea / slight dizzy feeling. I’m finding it difficult to eat due to the nausea but trying to stick to plain foods little and often. I’m also finding it difficult to focus on screens, reading books etc. I didn’t really suffer with this after my first lap a year ago so unsure if this is normal, especially a week after the op!
Any advice would be much appreciated x

I'm not sure if it helps but there is a bug going round that is as u described. Myself and husband have both had it in the last 2 weeks. I never go off food lol but we both felt nausea (Not actually sick) light headed and dizzy. It lasted on and off for over a week for each of us.
Hope you feel better very soon weather it's a bug or linked to the op xx
Yes 100% with you there on this!! I'm nearly 2 weeks into recovery from a 2nd lap to remove endo and fully going through this too! Standing up getting light headed, stary eyes or even moving too quick.. and also struggling to eat iv prob had 1 proper meal but just don't fancy it, smells making me feel sick! I just taking it as I'm dizzy because I'm not eating properly or moving round as normal! Iv found small bits of toast help the sickness and jelly 😂 bit random but goes down easy and full of suger to try and get me going a bit!! I hope you start to feel better soon xxxxx
I felt the exact same after my laparoscopy. I fainted on several occasions after trying to stand up and had stomach pain so bad that I couldn’t sit upright. I had to take a few weeks off of work but luckily after a week and a half the side effects calmed down and I was back on my feet. Hope you are feeling better and comfortable soon!!
