When ii am due on, ii get shocking amount of leg pain, starts within the pelvic area all the way down to my feet. Can’t describe it, almost burning?? Or like someone has my legs hard squeezing them making them radiate. More my right leg but sometimes left too. Has this anything to do with endo? Isit another symptom?? Xx

I was diagnosed last November with Endo and this is one of the many symptoms that helped point my GYNO in the direction of Endo. For me the pain radiated down the tops of my thighs.
Hi! Sciatica (I think that’s how it’s spelt) pain is very common for Endo. Normally it’s on the left side which can suggest Endo on the Uterosacral ligaments. It is nerve pain, hence why it travels down the leg and can result in pins and needles.
Yes i suffered from this, I say I suffered because I no longer suffer from it since having my lap in Aug 2019. My specialist said he doesn't think its related but I dfoz think it is as after surgery I never had these crippling pain on my legs, thigh, lower back.
I now suffer just the odd monthly lower back pain when I'm coming on thats all. All the thigh and leg pain has gone.
Mine seems to be both legs but mainly the right is worse effected and my chats are in my right overy wonder if this maybe why ?
Ii had the coil last year to see if it helps but now my legs are effected and is ever so painful before my periods waking up in agony. Ii feel it in my right pelvic area all the way down to my toes. It feels numb. Like the circulation is being cut of ☹️ xx
For me I was very concerned when I had the pain all the way down my legs and had no sensation my physio said if it happens like this to seek medical attention so I told my specialist and he sent me for Mri just to check what could be the cause.
Mine has now completely gone.
I used hot water bottle back then just placing it on my thigh.
I also started doing some physio exercise for sciatic nerve pain and also invested in a tens machine which has been amazing by far.
Yes Iv seen online that they send for mri if this is happening. I’m waiting on my dr calling me at 1.20 to discuss it see what she says. It’s not nice at all. Horrible feeling. Ii use heating pad which does help.
Where was ur endo placed for it to be causing the pain? Was it from it being in ur overies?? Xx
Yes my dr emailed my specialist as they are not open, and he replied to my gp to send me on a private mri and scan. All private are taking on nhs request as these need to come through first. So yes dfoz stress your gp to send you.
I started off with one stuck behind my uterus which was insane pain, it felt like it was going to explode as it would beat like a bomb, then that started to calm down when i was on morphine, then 2 month later I had a mri and was told I had to large cyst in my left ovary that pain was even more worse, i could barely walk normally and had a slight bump on that side of the ovary.
Iv spoken to my dr and she has asked me to go in tomo to check me over. So will have a better discussion with her hopefully she will send me for an MRI, thanks for ur help. Hoping once ii come on my period the pain will ease up. Ii was due another scan on my cysts in September but that seems way to far away to wait now with this pain xx
Thats great. Only thing about GPS are that they do not have much knowledge on endometriosis hence why being with a endo centre has really helped and answered my questions.
I hope she does send you for a mri if not a scan at least a Transvaginal scan. Sept is too far.
Are you on any pain relief, i was taking codeine upon till surgery, then cocodamol if I had any severe episodes after surgery but luckily haven't had to take any.
