Hi glad to hear your recovering well. I can completely relate to your feeling emotional. I felt exactly the same after my laparoscopy around 3 days post op. I think this is quite normal ti feel this way as you have been through a surgery and you have a lot to think of. I had my laparoscopy just over two weeks ago and got diagnosed with endo on my bladder and pelvic area. It was mixture of emotions I felt relieved I was diagnosed and or wasn't just in my head. I think a lot of people close to me don't understand. I felt very low but talking to people on here and close friends helped me. You will get through it. Look after yourself, rest treat yourself to nice things.

Was your op a diagnostic one or treatment? Hope you feel better soon. You are not alone xx

It is completely normal to feel emotional, you've been through a lot. I have cried so much.

For me I am quite an emotional person anyway lol.

I cried the first time I put clothes on because I thought I looked horrific.

I have cried a lot over the pain.

And I have cried that I've had to be off sick.

But then I realise that I've had a step in the right direction.

So do not worry it's normal and people that don't have endo may not understand but they definitely will be willing to listen to you. I'm on my 3rd week and i just invite a few people round at a time every so often when I'm feeling up to it just for a bit of company.

If you want to cry cry! But make sure you are doing something to make you smile also.

Hope you have a speedy recover x
