Exercise after op

Hey lovely people!

So I had my op 16 days ago now. I’m still getting back in to being ‘normal’ daily chores, work etc. But I just wondered if anyone knows when I can start back at yoga? I was thinking a gentle flow class to begin with and see how I get on? Feeling incredibly stiff and lethargic after two weeks of not really doing a lot so want to get back on it!!

Any ideas? TIA

Hi. After my op I was told to go with how my body felt as far as introducing exercise again, I started to gentle yoga at home 3 weeks post op but mine was having endo and cysts removed rather than just a rummage as the surgeon put it. When you go back to classes tell them you are post op and they will usually guide you. Hope the surgery helps you to keep comfortable. Xx

Yeh I had endo removed too, so just wondered how long to wait. Will give it a try at home and see how I get on!

hi. Hope you're recovering well, have you tried yoga? I've been given the green light to introduce running now so I'm cautiously doing some gentle runs! Hope you have found the operation helpful. Xx
