Does anyone else ever feel like... it's as if a string or cord is being pulled sharply when you pee. It's low in the pelvis and very straight up and down, I worry this may be indicative of Endo near or on my urethra or something. It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, it's really painful and also just kind of scary because I have to pee, I can't just not, but I worry I'm hurting something inside me when I get that pain. When it happens, I just have to stop going, even if I'm not done.
I also have had the same pain sometimes when I stand up from a sitting position - it's almost like a rubber band is being stretched to the point of snapping. Always in the same place, low in my pelvis and straight up and down.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?
I'm awaiting my first lap (finally) in early December after first going to the doctor in January and having Endo pretty much left as the only possibility by March after many, many other tests.

I wonder if rubber band type feelings might be adhesions stretching and tightening. They can pull organs out of position over time eg cause bowel distortion which I had. Presumably they can also do it to the bladder
If you're worried about Endo inside bladder you need a cystoscopy. Usually women have bleeding with that so far as I know. I had one and was clear inside just 2 plaques on outside bladder wall which were removed.
Hope this helps.
I get sharp pain when urinating first thing in the morning. I've thought it may be because my bladder is full and stretched out, and as it empties it contracts back down. I'm not a doctor so I'm just guessing that's why.
