Feeling a bit nervous 😩 I have appointment today with specialist, worried about what they going to do, some reassuring words would be really helpful right now

Hi Nikki

Totally understandable you are feeling nervous but this is a step towards getfing the treatment you need to hopefully help.

I had a consultant appointment 3 weeks ago tomorrow and am on a course of treatment Decapeptyl injections every 28 days and back up HRT Livia to try and ease the pain and symptoms. It is hard at the mo as pain gets worse before it gets better but I'm hanging in there in the hope it will work and the pain will calm down after a month or so.

Hi Nikki,

I know the whole process can be scary, but if you're seeing a specialist that's great, because so many regular doctors aren't familiar with how to treat endo.

It took me years to get my diagnosis, and I had my first laparoscopy/cystectomy in May this year, and it did help relieve some of the worst symptoms.

You're a warrior and you can do this xx

Thanks ladies, I have going through this since the age of 11 I am now 33 and was diagnosed in may by lap at stage 4.

The main thing I am worried about today is them giving me the drugs before surgery, I really don't want the drugs because I have been trying to get pregnant for the past 7yrs and this would make the chances of this slimmer and we can't have IVF because my husband has a son, I will never be able to find that kind of money so this is my last chance
