New here, pretty desperate :(

Hi all.

I was diagnosed with Endometriosis earlier this year. I has a laproscopy which was said to remove the larger growths, then started taking the combined pill. I stopped taking the combined pill at the beginning of this week and have had intermittent bouts of extremember pain, often being woken up in the middle of the night. 800mg ibuprofen has helped, until today.

I woke up at 6am in extreme pain, called in sick to work, got a hot water bottle sorted and took 800mg of ibuprofen and some Buscot an with some toast.

It hasn't worked, and nearly 8 hours later I'm still in bed in agony and gave found myself here.

I don't really know what I need. Sympathy maybe? I don't know what good support would feel like. Right now I'm at the end of my rope.

Please try and get to see your GP as soon as you can and tell them you need more pain relief. There are lots of things they can give you a prescription for that should help. In the meantime, if you find it is getting worse or you are starting to get frightened, it is OK to go to A&E and tell them you need pain relief. Call an ambulance if you need to. x.
