I waited all day today in state of anxiety for the doctor to call. Eventually at 7.30 she did. I described the sitting pain, not sleeping, not driving and she straight away proposed a six weeks, longer than I'd planned to ask for.
It takes the pressure off worrying about fortnightly notes which I've been finding stressful, but equally it's so demoralising.
I'm so sick of the constant coxxyx and pelvic pain and not sleeping. I've already been off 7 weeks since the op and 3 more before that with CFS/ exhaustion.
When am I ever going to feel better...

Sorry to hear this. It's such a long haul. But given how you are feeling it does sound like a good idea to take more time off.
Major operations often require 3 months off work, so maybe this is just how it will be. I can't see any reason not to think you'll get there in the end.
Bloody hell hun I really feel for you. This headache always gets us even when we're supposed to start feeling better. I really feel for you. Even though I don't v work right now iv don't get to do half as much as I'd like to do with my daughter. And cfs is the most awful thing ever iv battked with that all my teenage adult life so I know how you feel. All I can say is try get rest and hopefully it will get better in these coming weeks I can't suggest painkillers I find nothing helps and makes you feel worse especially regarding cfs wish you the best hun keep strong big hugs 😘
Don't feel demoralised, you body needs to heal. It's great she signed you off for six more weeks, it means you can concentrate on getting better properly. Work can wait - you are much more important. Big hugs xxxx
Don't feel demoralised cut yourself some slack. You've had an op and you need time to heal physically and mentally. Try to get some rest which I know is almost impossible with the way you're feeling but you need to. I found I napped in the afternoon better than I slept all night, get a blanket and a pillow and put your feet up. Sending you well wishes and hugs 🤗
