Hi, I have been diagnosed with a bit of everything - endo, adhesions but mostly adenomyosis. My GP has referred me to see a Gynae about some treatment but meantime she has given me Tranexamic Acid tables to be taken whilst on my period, 3 times a day. Has anyone tried this and if so, has it helped with making your periods lighter or given any bad side effects? Thank you x

Tranexamic acid was brilliant for me. I was still heavy but it became more manageable. I didn't have any side effects.
Me too, I had it for ages and while my periods where really heavy, they were lighter with the TA.
