I first got it in 2013 and i had the key hole surgery and then got pregnant and it's come back 10x worse has anyone else experienced this i collapse over and I am crippled on the floor for about an hour then for 3-5 days after I can hardly walk any were or do anything without been in agony and it's literally every week not just around when I 'should' get a period and what treatment have people found work??

Hi there I'm new on here too I have suffered with this severity of pain that your explaining for 12 years 2 different doctors have told me to have a child then my pain will go away but evidently in your case it hasn't I've been diagnosed with endo for 3 years and still suffer in pain but must admit not as bad as before I still have the odd day which is really bad. After 4 ops I am now on the PROSTAP 3 injection and was on and going back on the ZOLADEX injection which helps immensely i would suggest going to see you dr or gyneo and asking about the injection however it can cause fertility problems i dont want children so it wasn't a hard choice for me to make. Hope this helps you and you get some relieve from this horrendous pain.

Take care

Tia xx

Ohh, you poor thing :-( I hope things improve soon!

Have you tried seeing a naturopath or getting acupuncture? Or looking into changing your diet and supplements? After years of debilitating pain they were the things that finally gave me some relief!

Sending you lots of healing vibes! xx

Hey what are those please and I've tried everything for years they told me I was constipated and to change myour deity I did and it didn't do anything. Only thing I've found to work is a hot water bottle but I can't walk around the streets with a hot water bottle and thanks. I did used to take ibrophin and that helped and then I cut all my stomach open because of taking it for so long..it's the worst thing ever and people that don't have it don't understand even my mums said to me before everyone gets pain when they have a period but it's not the same xxx

I find I feel best on an anti-inflammatory diet, so lots of fresh vegetables, good fats, and a little bit of good quality meat (organic if possible). Then a small amount of fruit or nuts and seeds for snacks or occasional treats. Upping my good fats helped so much with constipation, so lots of avocado, coconut oil, olive oil etc.

Look up the AIP way of eating (auto-immune protocol / auto immune paleo), I'm not 100% all the time, but I've never felt better and more pain-free than when I was strictly following this. Overall though I try my best to avoid sugar, dairy, wheat, and preservatives as they cause inflammation and make my symptoms worse. It takes a good month to start seeing results and you sometimes feel worse for a week or two while your body detoxes, but the longer you stick with it the better you feel.

I also use magnesium spray morning and night (just spray on my belly and back, it stings until you're used to it), and take magnesium powder, collagen, vitex/chaste tree, a probiotic, and some pre-natal / multi-vitamins from my naturopath. Around my period I also take cramp bark drops, and was taking evening primrose oil too.

I get acupuncture every 2 weeks, which has also really helped (I know that's not an option for everyone though, as it does get expensive).

Others really don't understand, do they! Once my period started just as I was about to get on a plane. My close friend (who has always been supportive anyway) said she never really understood just how bad it was for me until then, she said it was like watching someone get hit by an invisible truck! I went down that hard and that quickly that I nearly missed the flight!

I hope you can find some relief soon! xx

Thank you for that in reading that for 2 mins I've had more information on how to make it bearable than what I have in 4 years by professionals and It awful isn't it the fact you can just collapse over at anylon point no matter where you are xx

I felt the same when I finally stumbled across some of this info, and now the more I research the more I find out! Plus one month of seeing a naturopath and acupuncturist was more helpful than over 10 years worth of doctors visits! I still have bad days here and there, but they're bearable, and I know what triggers them and what I can do to help myself. It really can just hit you anywhere, that's for sure! xx
