Mirena Coil & BV - Help!

Hi everyone,

It's been really refreshing reading everyone's posts as I do sometimes feel like I'm on my own fighting the pain!

I saw the consultant yesterday and I'm now waiting for a lap operation to see what's going on as they think it may be endometriosis.

I suffer from BV/Thrush and they've suggested I have the coil fitted as I didn't get on well with the pill (I turned into the devil & gained weight). I wanted to see if anyone else suffers from chronic BV & if the coil made it worse or better for them.

I'm nervous about it due to the pain reported but be good to get people's thoughts.
