Help!
I had laparoscopic surgery on July 28. Three small incisions were made - 1 through my belly button for the camera, and 1 near each hip bone for the tools. My operation was around 2hrs long and I went home 5hrs later. I didn't have to stay overnight. Recovery wise, the worst thing has been the gas pains (they inflate your abdomen with gas/air so they can see what they're doing), but now, 5 days later, the pain is much less. My right shoulder just feels a little bruised and achey. I had affected tissue removed, also (uterus was stuck to anterior wall, Fallopian tubes had affected tissue wrapped around them). The pain from the removal of tissue was actually very minimal. Just like period cramps. I used an ice pack on my stomach for 2 days. I used a heat pack on my shoulder for 2 days, also. Hope this helps, and good luck!
