I had a scan where they found 8cm cyst, smaller cysts, pollops and a thicker womb lining. I was refered to the gym who said he wanted to keep an eye on the cyst and to have a hysteroscopy, while having it I had the coil fitted. The hysteroscopy came back all clear and my gyn discharged me. That very weekend I had the sever pain again for around 5hrs, shaking, cold sweats, went to the hospital and told nothing they can do as there is no gyn in the hospital so go home and ride it out (like I did before) or go to another a and e. I chose to go home and go back to my gp to re refer me. She said she won't 're refer me, the cyst should go on its own and that the pain is probably wind as she thinks I have ibs. I've been in alot of pain since the coil and she said it's infected so take these antibiotics and come back another time to talk about ibs. I'm so lost, she wouldn't listen to me about the pain. I know what wind feels like I know what a pain from my uterus feels like. She's saying ibs because my bowls are bad everyday and that that is not connected with your uterus. And that soreness after sex can be from ibs I don't know what to do next. :(

Is there another GP near you ? you could get another opinion ? you know your own body. I was told (like so many others on here ) I had IBS, I kept saying it wasn't. It turns out I had a ruptured cyst and then 18 months later after more IBS fob off they discovered a ten cm cyst and Endo on my bowel. Don't give up, change GP if you have to.
