Going to GP, AGAIN - wish my luck

So, wish me luck.

I'm going back to my GP shortly to ask to be referred to an endo specialist I've found in Glasgow.

I feel like a ping pong ball, being passed from doctor to doctor with still no answers!!

I cannot wait weeks, possibility months to be seen at the BSGE Endo Centre, I need something and soon because I have no quality of life.

I am trying everything I can do help myself. I am on painkillers to help the pain as much as possible, I am trying the endo diet and I am taking a lot better are of my mental health but I need help from the doctors to get me some answers!!

Please keep fingers, toes, everything crossed that I get this referral and that I get it quickly.

I don't even know where to start with explaining all of this to my GP!!

It didn't go poorly, put it that way! My GP doesn't know very much about specialists so I told him one I'd found and what hospital I think he works at so he is going to refer me there and if in the meantime I can call the private hospital he works at and try to get in touch and see what NHS hospital he definitely works at just to be sure! So, not too bad an app! Xx

It sounds like you've done your research into specialists. The specialist that I was under works from bmi ross hall (glasgow) and bmi kings road in Stirling - not sure whether you would get anywhere quicker going private to see him although he did my lap at an NHS hospital and I had a 4 month wait.
