Hard to keep going..

Hey im new here.. and my name is shannon and im 21 years old (2017) . I got diagnosed with endo 2 years ago. When i was younger i always had very heavy and painful periods from when i was around 15. The doctors put me on the pill , i went to many doctors and they just aid it was down to ibs and being young.so then i have a copper coil fitted to see if that would help and nothing helped, then at the age of 18 i moved to belgium for my work and one day, i over heard the women in the staff room all talking about going to obgyn. So this women gave me a number of her doctor and i made a appointment. I went just for a normal check up on my coil and told him my problems and he did a internal scan and i was diagnosed. I have been on hormone tablets, i have also had injections that were injected directly into the lumps in abdomen. Nothing seamed to work so i had a lapo done and my doctor had cut out a lot of the endo and also i had a growth between my bowel and cervix (i think it was that, was a bit out of it with the drugs after the op). That lapo was 8 months ago and since the op i have been taking hormones and had the marina coil fitted. Everything had been fine until now and now im getting huge pain back in tummy and its becoming very swollen and im tired all the time. i thought that everything was ok and i just feel so down knowing that this is forever . im scared that its got worse and i wont be able to have children . my partner says he understands but i dont think he does. Its also so hard to get an appointment with my doctor and no paracetamol or tablets are working. Any suggestions for a newbie and for someone who is so overwhelmed ? I just wnat help and someone to talk to that undertstands. i hope i can make friends and help people on here

thank you hope people reply. :) x

Shame not good what you have been through and continuing to go through, hot baths, tens machine, heat pads, hot water bottles and tiger balm can help with some of my pains.

My usual combo for meds is tramadol, diclofenic, paracetomal and gabapentin

Though have just had the tramadol changes to Dihydrocodenie which helps dull it though doesn't put it away.

I'm on laxido sachets 4 daily because of meds and still struggle going to toilet.

I have my second lap on Tuesday so still feeling bit confused with all meds and yuk, though have to say pain is no where near like it was prior to surgery

Hope to be able to talk and give help to you if I can Xxxx

Sorry was last Tuesday I had emergency lap, just read back my message.

I find the heat pads from home bargains with the Velcro pocket belt are brilliant for work, and only 99p last full 8 hours too.

Yeah very hard to keep positive and am very worn out as so many people don't understand endo either.

Feel like all I do is complain about being sore.

Glad to find you and so many nice girls on here that are so helpful and kind xxxx

Yeah though bit confused as she said more endo found those as it wasn't active she didn't do anything to some of it, which imo I gather it will continue to grow at rate. I keep getting re accruing cysts that grow fast and quick though when she went on it largest one was gone and fluid left in place which they said was cyst ruptured on a 6 month continual pill to see if it prevent quick growth

Love this forum take care and here to speak at any time don't sleep great lol xxxx
