I had my diagnostic laparoscopy on the 30th June and nothing was found. I didn't have a follow up with gynae and was told to go back to my GP and request to see an endometriosis specialist.
I'm going to my GP tomorrow morning and I'm incredibly nervous as I feel now that nothing has been found people will fob me off even more.
I'm also nervous I'm going to be told that I will be waiting months for a referral.
I've struggled for 7 years with every endometriosis symptom in the book, I can't wait any longer

Funnily enough im going to see my GP this afternoon for same reason. Nothing foubd after 15 years of everyone saying i had endo. Good luck with yours. Ive had some post op symptoms with dizziness to add to my woes so have that to discuss too, been signed off another week. Already had two off as went to work too soon. Fingers crossed you get your referral.
Good luck with your appointment today with your GP- I hope it goes well. It must be very frustrating not having answers for the symptoms you are having to suffer- it took me to have chronic pain in my lower left abdominal side for 6 months to have a laparoscopy( suffered many abnormalities in my cycles and secondary infertility for 5 years and 10 months- supposedly "unexplained"not anymore) - luckily I am under a good fertility consultant who thought endo should be ruled out- turned out I have endometriosis and he found and removed implants. The problem with my endo was it produced gynae a and bowel symptoms. My gp was completely disinterested in my pain and told me " it was a bit of tummy nothing he could do" it's disgusting how some doctors behave- fortunately my consultant took my pain very seriously. Needless to say I haven't spoken to my GP since and won't ever again- all the other doctors, nurses, health assistants and even receptionists were very kind and supportive of me. I know what it feels like not to be taken seriously and it's awful when you're made to feel like a hypochondriac. I wish some GPs were better educated over endometriosis- if this was a disease that affected men I'm sure they wouldn't be made to suffer like us women are. If you don't get listened to go back to another doctor - keep going until you're being listened to seriously ( my case it was just one bad apple there the rest were brilliant) It is not normal that you are suffering pain- pain is an indication of something is not right and should be taken seriously. Don't give up xoxo
Really glad you got your referral. I was feeling iffy (still signed off from my lap as had some post op symptoms) so changed my appt to today. So far even the male gp in my health centre have pretty good but I do now tend to go with one female GP. She is who I'm seeing today.
