Hi everyone! After my last post, I've finally had my letter summing up my gynae appointment. Basically, after she examined me internally she didn't tell me anything about it ie whether it was normal or not. Anyway, had the letter today and it says I have a "reverted uterus" - anyone know what this means or if it's anything to do with endometriosis? (Trying to get a diagnosis of endo and currently waiting for a lap)
Thanks everyone!

I've got a retroverted uterus too. It just describes the angle at which the uterus is positioned. I think it can make some procedures more tricky, but I've never heard that it's connected to endo.
I have a retroverted uterus to it just means our uterus is tilted more towards our bowel. My gyne said it doesn't cause any problems besides maybe some pain during sex. My gyne also has a retroverted uterus and has had 2 kids with pcos
Yes it means your womb is tilted, I have the same thing. It seems pretty common in endo ladies but I don't know if there is a link. In terms of getting a diagnosis you need a laparoscopy really. My endo didn't show up on my internal scan but my laparoscopy confirmed that I had stage 4 endo and my bowel and womb had become stuck together.
Normal, nothing to worry about, just how we were born. It's called a retroverted uterus just like other ladies have described, just a different angle. Nothing of worry. Nothing to do with Endo either. Good luck when get your results for Endo and hope you are clear 🙏🏼🙌🏽🙌🏽😘✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
