Is Severe pelvic pain 2 months post surgery

I had an emergency surgery for removal of an 8 cm (grapefruit sized) endometrioma located on my left uterine wall. Since the laparoscopic procedure I was diagnosed with Stage 4 endometriosis and I have experienced intense pain, pressure and discomfort all along the pelvic area, nonstop nausea and today the same level of pain and intensity that I had the day of surgery at the surgical site. It woke me out of my sleep. It was super sharp, shooting, stabbing knife-life pain that required me to take a prescription pain killer left over from my recovery from my procedure. I usually don't take pain killers mind Motrin because it makes me feel worse if not backed up and I can't go to the bathroom. Is this normal to be in so much pain? I haven't had my appointment yet with the endo specialist to get help on getting pregnant and painmanagement however I'm left feeling hopeless because if this is the quality of my life I'm not sure I can endure this much longer... any advice?

OMG Im not sure but you should seek medical advice now! Call the hospital deparmtcand request a post op appointmt with your surgeon and explain why. I had my endo removed but was feeling very dizzy and unwell for 3 weeks afterwards so managed to get a very early appmt with my surgeon. Thank God for that, they had discovered massive fibroids which will now be investigated.

Go and call them and insist!
