Scar Tissue - What are the problems associated with this?

Hi,

I have been reading a lot about scar tissue after having a lap for endometriosis. I had a lap 9 months ago and I was just wondering what problems are associated with scar tissue?

Also what is a coil used for and what are the benefits/draw backs?

Adhesions can cause pain and make parts stick together too I think. The mirena coil is like contraception and can get rid of periods and supposedly help keep Endo at Bay. I had one inserted after lap last year and found it painful add not helpful for my symptoms and I still got horribly painful periods. However some people love them and it all depends on the person tbh. They can stay in for up to 5 years too
