Internal scar tissue treatment/physio or massage

Hi beauties...

I’ve been trying to find practitioners that do massage for breaking up internal pelvic adehesions. I’m not sure what’s the right name for the treatment. I have heard about it somewhere but I can’t recall what was it called. If it’s just acumpuncture or what.

Have any of you tried holistic treatments for adehesions? What did you think? Did it help?

I’m contemplating laparoscopy but even that will create internal scar tissue so with way I’ll have to do a natural treatment.

Thank you ladies...and enjoy your Sunday.

Hi there! I haven't tried anything yet myself but while researching today I read about people who had had pelvic floor therapy and myofascial release. I wonder if either of those are what you read about before?

Sorry I can't be of more help! I was just last week diagnosed with abdominal adhesions after having a laparoscopy. Endometriosis had been suspected but there was no trace of it, just adhesions connecting my bowel to one of my Fallopian tubes.

I’ll search about it. I have abdominal adhesions connecting my bowels to the úteros etc. I did try systemic enzymes and serrapeptase before but I’m not sure it did much. But supposedly it helps the body consume the adhesions, fibroids, etc. I did try it for a while but I feel like the endo is very advanced and just natural approach won’t make much. It’s always difficult to tell, I guess.

I think it's called scarwork or scar therapy. I have been to see a woman who does this. I only had o e session, it was interesting and I felt very relaxed during it, but afterwards not as good as I would have from the normal sessions I have with her, so I went back to that.

Thank you for the help. Did you have any pain afterwards?

Yes, I did the next day. But as I say, it was quite an enjoyable session and I raved about it and was a little disheartened the following morning to be back to normal. It wasn't long after my diagnostic lap (months not weeks) and I was worried about having someone mess with my stomach but it didn't hurt and I did relax, I really trust the woman who did it which might have helped. Normally I turn up tell her how I feel and just let her do what she thinks best, mainly massage with some reiki. It's nice to just take an hour out and really do something nice for myself. I have very extensive endo and having surgery next week to remove as much as they can, but I might revisit it after this, might need a bit more commitment than just one session, but I do think it will help the actual surgical scars and surrounding area if nothing else.
