I had my 3rd Lap 4 weeks ago, this time they cut the endo out instead of burning it away. 4 weeks on I'm still getting ALOT of pain in my pelvis and back. I've been off all strong pain killers for about 10 days now and really dont want to go back on them, as the withdrawal symptoms are awful.
In the past i have felt alot better by week 2-3, so I'm very concerned.
Is this normal 4 weeks on??

I had excision surgery done (a lot of excision). It's been 10 days now since surgery and I'm feeling back to normal. I have however yesterday development some leg pain, which is odd.
I'm still in constant pain. it's no where as bad as it was. Now it just feel like my period is coming ( which i can handle) ,but for the past 8 days I've started getting pelvic and back pains really bad. I can and have been moving and walking about but after about 40 minutes I'm in agony need to lay down and sitting seems to make a worse.
Before this everything seemed fine and all looking and feeling huge improvements. I've not done anything different so I'm very confused. They did remove alot from my pelvis and bowel.
I did have a Lap done and was suffering with the same symptoms and it turned out they hadn't actually found all my endo. I had a lot excised from my pelvic walls and bowel. I am still early days but will keep you updated, as I'm hoping my symptoms go also but I'm also worried about other pains coming, I've read that you can still get pains from the surgery etc.
Are you in a position whereby you can ring your consultant?
Your GP will just say your body takes time to heal, but I wouldn't let them get away with it.
You know your body, if you feel something isn't right fight for an answer...!!
Yeah i have my consultants number but not due for another appointment until the end of June. To be fair my GP is pretty good as she is also an Endo sufferer.
Yeah I'm under NHS Gyne. They said they had removed all the endometriosis by cutting it all out and that it was really bad in my pelvis and around my bladder.
Was it at a bsge clinic on NHS? Sounds like it's bad and you should only have been treated in a specialist centre. Your gp can refer you to one, especially as you are still suffering.
