I've been told I may have endometriosis (have two cysts too) and are waiting surgery. When I spoke to consultant I mentioned briefly some bowel issues and that I (supposedly) have ibs. I didn't mention my bladder issues. I have had a lot of infections but even when I'm infection free I have pain when passing water, trouble starting to wee and I don't empty bladder properly.
Before I joined this forum I didn't realise they could be endo related so didn't think to push these symptoms. Now I'm wondering whether the surgeon will automatically check everywhere including bowl and bladder, or if they only do so if they have concerns. Contemplating containing Gynecology but worried I'll sound like an idiot or a bit of a drama queen. Just worried something may be missed. ☹️Xxx

I believe you should address your concerns with the consultant as I have severe endometriosis have had them for 20 years only a depo injections helped with pain and bleeding but recently that's not helped like you had bladder and bowel problems. Told my gaynae about this and 3 weeks ago had surgery and they said I had so many adisions that were sticking my bladder womb bladder all together was very bad. So speak to your consultant before the surgery. Hope this helps
Hi. Thanks for your reply. I too fount the depot helped but as I have oesteopenia I can't have it anymore, as it can thin your bones further. The coil didn't agree with me and I have bipolar so can't take any oestrogen based contraception as it will interfere with my meds. So I'm running out of options!!
I rang gynae secretary and she assured me they will look everywhere but I'm gonna check with surgeon. I've had a cystoscopy so know the inside of my bladder is fine. I don't empty it properly though. I've also been told in the past I may have ibs but it's worse around my period. So I have so many questions!!! I grateful for any info and advice on here, so thank you.
