Yasmin and endometriosis

Hello everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with using Yasmin to help control your endo symptoms?

My doctor has suggested it as microgynon made my emotions uncontrollable, and I cry enough as it is thanks to the pain!

I don't have any experience of Yasmin sorry but I know the implant really helps my symptoms, mainly I think because I don't have any bleeding with the implant which I know this isn't the case for everyone! X

I swapped to yasmin years ago and never looked back. I find it works well for me and I take it back to back with a break every three or four months for the week pill break. I've kept on it during the merina coil being fitted and now zoladex injections.

Yasmin is a lot less harsh on the body. It's the gentle pill I was told.

I got prescribed a stronger pill and complained as it got me too down and went on Yasmin and took it without breaks 6 packs running for 3 years, for me I was quiet stable emotionally and had no issues. I am on Visanne now which I got prescribed after operation and I'm so bad they want to give me anti depressants, trying to find a solution but Yasmin worked fine for me x
