Fatigue and endometriosis!

I am 2 weeks post op and the last few days I have done a few more normal activities for me to gradually build up my strength. I didn’t do anything physical and sat down for most of it but I am exhausted! I feel like a zombie and I am struggling to do anything! I understand I am still recovering from my op but I just feel like I’m drifting through the days. Is this normal for endometriosis? I’ve seen a few posts on chronic fatigue linked to it but I want to understand it so I can hopefully do something to help! Thanks in advance!

I’ve not been diagnosed with endo yet but I have pos and hashimotos, and extreme fatigue and joint and muscle aches as well as all the symptoms. I think it’s all linked. I’m currently trying to address “the root” cause with my naturopath but I honestly don’t know what can help yet. I sympathise 🌷🌷🌷

Hello just a question when you get joint and muscle aches it is in your pelvis like pulling sensation?

If you have a pulling sensation it could be that you have adhesions (scar tissue from the endo) in your pelvis

I was not diagnosed with endo but I feel a pulling sensation in my genitals...

Could this be endo then?

Hm, not sure! Endo is a combination of many things and usually coincide with your period. Do you have any other symptoms that add up to endo? Like crippling pain, heavy bleeding, fatigue, etc during your period? You can also have symptoms at other times too but the big clue is during your period.

You can also get adhesions which could pull at any time as it’s scar tissue. And these can be anywhere.

Silly question but have you spoken to your doctor?

She told me it is all in my head...

I dont have painful periods..

But then again endo is a combination of many things..

Just a question (I am a bit new here) how long do adhesions forms?

Sorry to hear your Dr is being unhelpful. I don’t know how long adhesions take to form, I was a bit ignorant about that part when I was first diagnosed over 20 years ago.

It sounds like you need to keep a record of everything you experience, when, for how long, pain 1-5. You might need to do this for a few months to see if you find a pattern, do more research on these and go back to your Dr.

I’m honestly not sure if it’s endo or not, but it does sound like you have something, cramping like that doesn’t sound ‘normal’.
