Hi all. I am on a waiting list for surgery for my endometriosis. The pain I am now experience is absolutely awful. I have suffered for 6 years but jn the recent months nothing is easing the pain, I have had to take the day off work today which I hate doing just because of the amount of pain has incapacited me. Any asvice on pain relief, I do use a hot water bottle at present. Any help would be much appreciated.

Waiting for surgery but pain Is getting worse
have you been given any prescription pain meds or hormone treatments to help you while you wait for surgery?
I already have a coil fitted which they have said they will remove and then replace but no pain medication.
I ended up in hospital over the weekend with the pain. Still waiting for Lap myself.
I was given Tramadol as other painkillers weren't working e.g paracetamol, cocodamol
I'm not taking them every 4 hours, but will when I get to a cant cope stage. I had forgotten what it was like to not be in pain.. Its bliss for a few hours!
Please go see someone who can give you something to help. If you've already tried basic painkillers that aren't working let them know.
Thank you for your reply, I will try and get in the docs, I have been up most of the night, the pain is beginning to become unbearable. I just don't know what else to do.
